Burn With Intention

Each Moonlight Raven Co candle is crafted with a natural wooden wick designed to create a soft crackling flame and an even, steady burn. To keep your candle performing beautifully from the first light to the last, follow the care guidelines below.

Wick Care

- Trim before every burn to approximately 1/8 inch. A short wick ensures a clean, steady flame.

- Remove charred wood between burns once the candle is cool. This prevents soot and keeps the flame from extinguishing.

First Burn

- Allow the candle to melt fully to the edges of the vessel on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and sets the candle’s burn memory.

- Expect the first burn to take 2–3 hours depending on the vessel size.

During Use

- Burn for 2–4 hours at a time to maintain an even melt pool.

- Keep away from drafts, fans, or open windows to prevent flickering or uneven burning.

- Never move a lit candle. Allow the wax to cool and solidify before handling.

Safety

- Always burn on a stable, heat‑resistant surface.

- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

- Never leave a burning candle unattended.

- Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains to protect the vessel from overheating.
